Obligations of Distributor

That the Distributor engaged in Product selling shall:

  1. Carry their identity card and not visit the customer's premises without prior appointment/approval.
  2. Clearly identify themselves at the beginning of a sales presentation.
  3. Offer prospective consumers accurate and complete information about products/services and policies.
  4. Provide the following at the time of sale:
    • Name, address, registration/enrollment number, ID proof, telephone number, and selling entity details.
    • Description of goods/services.
    • Return policy information.
    • Order date, total amount, and receipt.
    • Inspection and delivery details.
    • Right to cancel/return in saleable condition.
    • Complaint Redressal mechanism details.
  5. Maintain proper book of accounts.
  6. Refrain from misleading, deceptive, or unfair practices.
  7. Comply with GST/service tax rules (if applicable).
