Obligations of Distributor
That the Distributor engaged in product selling shall follow the conduct and disclosure rules below.
- Carry their identity card and not visit the customer's premises without prior appointment or approval.
- Clearly identify themselves at the beginning of a sales presentation.
- Offer prospective consumers accurate and complete information about products, services, and policies.
- At the time of sale, provide product or service details, order information, receipt, return policy, and delivery information.
- Allow the customer to cancel or return eligible goods in saleable condition as per policy.
- Maintain proper books of accounts.
- Refrain from misleading, deceptive, or unfair practices.
- Comply with applicable GST and tax rules.
